4dayz terms
Terms of Service
These terms are the basic conditions that apply when using 4dayz. By using the service, you are considered to understand and agree to the contents below.
Effective date: 2026-07-06
1. Service Overview
4dayz is designed so users can write posts with anonymous key-based identities and public feed posts disappear after a set time. Some features use client-side signatures or encryption, and the server processes only the minimum data needed to provide the service.
2. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for content you create or transmit. Uses that violate law or public order, including rights infringement, illegal information, malicious code, spam, harassment, or content inappropriate for minors, are not allowed.
3. Accounts and Key Management
4dayz may use cryptographic keys created or stored in your browser instead of traditional accounts. You are responsible for managing passwords, private keys, and recovery information, and the service operator cannot recover lost private keys or passwords.
4. Posts and Retention Policy
Posts remain in the public feed for up to 96 hours. After removal, archived copies including content, tags, public keys, signatures, and related IP security logs may be retained for up to three months for operations, security, legal response, or failure recovery, and are then scheduled for deletion.
5. Encrypted DM
Encrypted DM is designed so the server cannot directly read message bodies. However, metadata needed to operate the service, such as recipients, senders, send time, ciphertext, and public key information, may be stored.
6. Service Changes and Suspension
Service features, screens, retention periods, and security policies may change for improvement or operational needs. The service may be temporarily restricted during failures, maintenance, external infrastructure issues, or urgent security measures.
7. Limitation of Liability
The service is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, the operator limits liability for damages caused by lost keys, content deletion, network failures, third-party actions, or the user's violation of these terms.
8. Contact
Questions about these terms or service operation may be submitted through the contact channels announced by the service operator.
